For estate agents: before a property goes to market

• The roof is in every front-elevation photo. Heavy moss or black staining is one of the first things a buyer sees in the listing.

• Allow time for the result. Staining keeps fading for weeks after a biocide treatment, so the earlier before photography the better.

How it works

1. You send the property. Address or postcode, a few photos (ground-level is fine) and any access notes.
2. We match it. Hampshire Roof Care is a matching service. We pass the enquiry to our vetted local specialist partner, who covers South Hampshire.
3. The specialist quotes. A fixed written quote comes direct from the specialist, to you or straight to the landlord or vendor, whichever you prefer.
4. The owner contracts with the specialist. The work, paperwork and invoice are between the owner (or you, as their agent) and the specialist. There is no markup from us on the quote, and nothing for your agency to sign up to.

Why soft wash, not jet wash

Common Questions

Who pays, and who is the contract with?

The landlord or vendor, or the agent on their behalf where the management agreement allows. The quote, the work and the invoice are direct with the specialist. Hampshire Roof Care adds no markup to the quote.

Do tenants need to be home?

Usually not. The work is external and normally needs a driveway or side path for access, not entry to the property. Tenants should have notice of the visit and are usually asked to close windows and move cars on the day.

How quickly can a roof be quoted before a property goes on the market?

Send the address and a few photos and we pass them to the specialist. Quotes are normally back within 24 hours. A site visit is arranged where photos are not enough.

Is the treatment safe for tenants’ pets and gardens?
