Hampshire Roof Care ("we", "us", "our") is a specialist matching service connecting Hampshire homeowners with vetted local soft-wash roof-cleaning contractors from our approved partner network.

When you contact us via the website, phone, WhatsApp or email, we may collect:

- Photos of your property that you choose to send us
- Details of the service you're interested in and any relevant context you provide
When you browse the site, our web analytics may automatically log:
- Your IP address (anonymised)
- Browser and device type
- Pages viewed and time on each page
- Referring website
Why we collect it and legal basis
- To qualify your enquiry and match you to a suitable delivery partner — legal basis: your consent (given when you submit an enquiry) and legitimate interest in providing the service.
- To pass your enquiry details to our matched partner so they can send you a quote — legal basis: consent (via the checkbox on the contact form or by choosing to contact us).
- Web analytics to understand which pages help homeowners and improve the service — legal basis: legitimate interest.
Who we share your data with
Your enquiry details are shared only with the matched delivery partner from our approved network, for the purpose of providing you with a quote and delivering the work you request.
We do not sell your data. We do not list you on any lead marketplace. We do not pass your details to third parties unrelated to your enquiry.
Third-party service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Formspree — contact-form submission handler
- Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and email routing (based in USA, GDPR-compliant transfer safeguards in place via Cloudflare's data processing agreement)
- Voipfone — telephony provider (UK-based)
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, that channel is governed by Meta's own privacy policy
How long we keep your data
- Enquiry details are held for up to 12 months after your last contact, so we can respond to any follow-up questions or updated quote requests.
- If your job is booked with a delivery partner, they retain records for their own regulatory / accounting periods (typically 6 years for tax purposes).
- Website analytics are retained for a maximum of 26 months.
Your rights under GDPR / UK Data Protection Act 2018
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time
