Our Story

Hampshire Roof Care started in 2018 after the owner spent two years frustrated trying to find an honest roof cleaner for his own house. Three quotes, all wildly different. Two contractors who used high-pressure jet washers that damaged the tiles. One who didn’t turn up. After eventually finding a soft-wash specialist who did the job properly, the conclusion was: there’s a real gap in the Hampshire market for a transparent, no-nonsense, soft-wash-only roof cleaner.

Six years later we’ve cleaned over 650 Hampshire roofs — from terraced Southsea slate to executive Chandler’s Ford detached. The approach hasn’t changed:

• Soft wash only — never jet wash
• Fixed-price quotes in writing, valid 60 days
• 5-year biocide treatment as standard
• Photos sent the day of the job
• Payment only after you’re happy

Our Methods

We use low-pressure soft wash systems with professional-grade biocide. No high-pressure jet washers under any circumstances. Equipment carbon-fibre poles reach most domestic roofs from ground level — no scaffolding charges, no roof walking, no risk of dislodged tiles.

The Team

Owner-operated, with two operatives during the busy season (April–October). Everyone on the job is working-at-heights certified, fully briefed on the property before arrival, and accountable for the result. When you call, you reach the owner directly — no call centre, no booking line, no script.

• Public liability: £5 million through Aviva (certificate available on request)
• Working at heights: IPAF / PASMA trained operatives
• BAFE: registered for biocide handling and disposal
